We ask you to prepare your project for a digital presentation again. As it is the mid-term presentation, it is compulsory, and we give marks.
WHAT to bring:
- function;
- concept;
(- some inspiration images if it can helps to understand your concept);
- site plan (insert your building into the map)
- photos of the site
- section(s) - as many as need to understand your design;
- floorplans (all different floors!);
- elevations (all different elevations);
- perspective sketches or working models (i.e. 1:500, 1:200, 1:100 - it depends on what fits with your concept);
What kind of DRAWINGS are required:
- tracing paper is enough - or any cheap and comfortable sheet is okay;
- use a simple pencil or pen is enough - use plus color(s) if you prefer/need
- use rulers if you need, or just use tracing paper and your older drawings as a reference
- be on scale (it can be 1:100 or 1:200 or something else, but use a certain scale!)
- write some basic measurements to the drawings. It helps to understand the scale on the screen.
HOW to prepare for the presentation:
Scan or take photos of all your drawings (and if you have a model take photos of that) and
A) Use Prezi, download your presentation, and bring us the .zip file without expanding that.
B) Make a folder and put there all of your images. Rename them to get the right order. Don't make subfolders. Bring us the folder.
C) Use any program what you prefer and bring us only one .pdf file with horizontal sheets which fits for the projector.
HOW to bring the files:
A) Use an external hard drive or a flash memory = pen drive = usb stick...
B) You can present from your own computer if it is necessary (and if you laptop has a VGA port)
C) In emergency you can send the 'one more image' via email, but don't send me whole presentations.

Booklet
To use booklet for a project is a really nice way of presentation, and the more experienced ones knows that it's a quite common technique.
So, I advise to all of you that 'copy' Jani and let's start to make your own booklet!
You can collect there all your ideas, smalls and huge ones too, and there can be several concepts, photos, maps or everything what inspires you. Even if you restart your project you not have to restart your booklet! Let us to see how much you worked.
